I have partnered with SheIn to bring you guys a couple beautiful and trendy fall pieces for under $30! Yes you heard that right, these items are each under $30.

The first item I chose is this beautiful tweed blazer with pearl beading and frayed trim! This blazer completes a fall look perfectly and is so versatile! It is great quality for the price. The blazer comes in several colors, but I chose black so I can wear it with many different fall outfits! I paired mine with a velvet cami from Urban Outfitters to add a nice contrast in texture.

The second fall find are these ruffle waist belted peg pants in a nice autumn rust color. Shooting photos for this post was so much fun in these pants because they matched the leaves perfectly! Pair it with a cute little scarf like mine from Zara for the ultimate fall look. You can buy these pants for $17 and they also come in other colors.

Happy Monday! In a little over a week I will be home in Kansas City for Thanksgiving and I couldn’t be more excited to kick back, relax, eat way too much, (the sweater says it all) and be back with my friends and family! I just love the holiday season and am so ready to end my fall semester of Junior year and move on to the next.

Today’s outfit is featuring one of my current favorite trends, berets! I am a little dissapointed in myself for questioning whether or not this trend would actually hit and deciding not to buy one when I was in Paris over the summer, but I found this super cute one from Nordstrom for under $30 and it comes in so many cute colors! I’ve paired it with this adorable sweater from Wildfox that I found at TJmax for $40 which may unfortunately now be out of stock, and some cropped jeans from Top Shop and my go to bp Nordstrom black booties which are my go to shoes for everything from class, date nights, and bar hopping with the girls!

Good afternoon lovelies!

Today’s post is all about the trends and color palette of this fall. Whether you’ve got a cute date to go pumpkin picking, Thanksgiving festivities to attend, or just your day to day routine of going to work or school, hopefully this post will help you find what you “need” this season!

Below is a chart of Pantone’s fashion trending colors for Fall 2017. Pantone is one of my favorite sites for finding my favorite color for the season! Last fall it was spicy mustard, but this year I am really feeling vibrant reds and warm neutrals. Take a minute to find your favorites from this color palette!

On to the trends!

Pants

Gingham and plaid are so in right now, as well as boyfriend denim, embroidery, and pearl embellishments. I’m also loving these trouser pants with the tie in the front!

Sweaters

A cozy sweater is a must every fall! Below I have linked some of my favorites. I really like the 90’s athletic wear trend right now so I’ve attached some cozy Champion sweatshirts as well!

Shoes
My favorite shoes this season are all by Steve Madden, Jeffrey Campbell, and Sam Edelman! They have all the hot trends at a more affordable price. There is a shoe for everyone in this list!

Outerwear
I have listed a variety of coats from different price ranges because personally I like to splurge on items like coats that you may where several times a week. I am loving the teddy bear coat trend because who wouldn’t want to feel like a snuggly warm teddy bear on a cold fall night? Suede moto jackets, plaids and ginghams, and the classic tan oversized coat are other great picks!

As the temperature drops, leaves change, and pumpkin spice everything comes around, you can now pull out of the depths of your closet, your favorite cozy sweaters, booties, and festive plaid!

I love plaid, especially on warm flannels and scarves, but recently I have been adoring plaid mini skirts! There are so many ways to style plaid whether you want to go for a preppy Blair Waldorf look, something more grunge, or minimalist.

Today’s outfit features a plaid skirt that was on clearance at Zara (I’ll share a similar alternative below), Steve Madden black suede mules, and my all time favorite Jean jacket that reps my home, Kansas City! I love how the patches on the jacket with the plaid skirt give the look a preppy but not over the top preppy feel. I kept the top basic for this look so as not to distract from the skirt being the statement piece.

Other ways I love to style this skirt are with chunky oversized sweaters, distressed tees, or just a basic button up shirt worn loose and belted.

The fourth of July is almost here! I am super excited to be celebrating with my study abroad group in Amsterdam tomorrow and just love dressing up, making yummy treats, and watching the fireworks! Unfortunately, there will be no fireworks here in Amsterdam, but we are hoping to make it work with lots of sparklers. And of course, the usual excessive amount of jello shots and beer, and a grill to barbecue some burgers and brats.

Today I have two casual outfits for the last minute shopper! I snagged both of these while in Malaga, Spain at Primark and Bershka for amazing prices! My red gingham dress is perfect for the fourth and was only $10 on sale! I love pairing it with my navy Superga platform sneakers for a cute and casual fourth of July look.

For the second look I have paired a light blue ruffle bodysuit from Primark with my denim skirt and red stripe neck tie from Bershka. This look was under $50 total!

Have a fun and safe fourth of July!
